Since 2013, I’ve been casting pixels like spells—blending graphic design, motion graphics, illustration, and 3D into digital wizardry. As a freelance sorcerer of visuals, I’ve conjured magic for brands and ventures that seek work with a spark of imagination and a touch of mischief.

21 DREAMWORKS is a long-standing antique store in Tainan, Taiwan, with over 25 years of history specializing in American antiques from the 1960s to 1990s. As a staple in Taiwan’s antique scene, the owner wanted to refresh the brand.

I led a rebrand inspired by UPA-style illustration for the mascot and storefront banner, drawing influence from traditional American dry goods and antique stores. In addition, I developed a flexible branding system with logo and mascot variations for use across diverse marketing applications.

Alongside the rebrand, the owner requested an exterior banner design (6m × 4m) to be displayed above the building. The goal was to capture the attention of passing traffic, establish a recognizable landmark, and encourage visitors to take photos to share on social media — ultimately driving more visibility to the store and its Instagram page.

The owner was thrilled with the new design. These photos were taken during the banner installation at the store in Spring 2025.

Motion Graphics

15 Years Later

I worked on 15 Years Later, an animation project produced by Life After Sports LLC, sponsored by Cordell Broadus (son of Snoop Dogg) and supported by Snoop Dogg, in collaboration with Kam Powell (producer at Khalabo Ink Society). I contributed to the animation, which premiered ahead of Ray J’s Netflix Christmas movie Dear Santa, I Need a Date at a charity event held at Sports Academy in December 2019. Below are selected scenes I created for this project.

ID & French Press

My illustration style is rooted in the influences of Japanese anime, Disney, and Cartoon Network from my 90s childhood, later shaped by living between Eastern and Western cultures. It also draws from my passion for street art, punk rock, hip-hop, house music, skateboarding, and graffiti culture. I’ve always been drawn to rebellious art movements and the underground scene, which continue to fuel my creative energy and visual storytelling. Collaborating with ID and French Press DJs in San Francisco was a true fever dream as a graphic designer. Below are event posters and motion graphics I created in partnership with both event managers.

The project began with static posters, but we shifted to motion graphics to maximize social media impact. The campaign reached 75K views in one week and attracted nearly 1,000 attendees — far surpassing the 250 originally expected. Post-event, I also shot and integrated 360° footage to celebrate the success.

Following the success of the first event, I collaborated with the event managers on the next two ID shows. Shown here are both the static and animated versions of the Intimate Degenerate 2 event poster.

After collaborating on ID events, I was introduced to the French Press event manager. French Press is a house and techno show inspired by Daft Punk, Justice, Breakbot, SebastiAn, and the Ed Banger Records sound.

Named for its specialty espresso cocktails, the event kept the party energized. For the visuals, I drew from Daft Punk’s Discovery album cover, blending 80s synthwave aesthetics with custom effects and adapting layouts across formats for different marketing channels.

In 2016, I collaborated with a retail entrepreneur to kickstart his streetwear fashion brand, KOMÄFI. Together, we launched the first product line and I creative-directed the marketing materials, photoshoots, event environmental design, and social media content. These efforts gave the brand a solid foundation, built a strong fanbase in Indianapolis, and helped fuel the city’s growing hype culture.
